A multi-vehicle pile-up in Temescal Valley led to a fatality (Temescal Valley, CA)

One person was killed after a multi-vehicle wreck early Saturday morning in Temescal Valley.

As per the initial information, the crash involving at least six vehicles took place at 1:53 a.m. on the northbound 15 Freeway and Indian Truck Trail. Officials confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries.

All lanes of the freeway were closed down for several hours during the investigation and cleanup. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

The wreck remains under review.
