On Thursday evening, one person lost their life and at least two others received injuries after a multi-vehicle accident in Santa Clarita.
The incident took place on 17615 Soledad Canyon Rd. Paramedics immediately responded to 17615 Soledad Canyon Road on reports of a four-vehicle wreck with one person pinned. On arrival, emergency crews declared one person dead and another person was taken to a local trauma center while a third person refused medical treatment.
According to reports, two cars collided with each other head-on. A third vehicle was on the sidewalk near a bus stop. The circumstances that have led to the crash remain unknown at this time. The identities of the deceased and the injured persons remain undisclosed.
An investigation is underway.
