A multi-vehicle accident kills a female passenger on Leslie Street (Richland, WA)

On Wednesday, a female passenger died after a three-vehicle pile-up on Leslie Street.

The multi-vehicle accident happened at around 4:14 p.m. near Canyon Avenue. As per reports, two vehicles were heading southbound on the roadway, but as two lanes merged into one, both drivers did not yielded to each other and, as a result, the two vehicles collided.

According to authorities, the victim’s vehicle was pushed into the northbound lane and a third car slammed into the passenger’s side of the vehicle. Officers later declared the victim deceased due to her injuries. Police are trying to determine which vehicle caused the crash. They mentioned that there were no signs of impairment or distraction from devices as of now.

An investigation is continuing.
