On Sunday morning, one person was killed while three others suffered injuries following a traffic collision on 5 Freeway.
As per the initial information, the fatal multi-vehicle accident took place at about 2:12 a.m. on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway at Yale Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that a black sedan and several other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
One person suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Three people were transported to three different hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Officials called a representative from the coroner’s office at approximately 2:38 a.m. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
