On late Saturday evening, one person lost their life and another received injuries after a multi-vehicle accident near the I-10 and Fairway Drive.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle wreck took place just before 11 p.m. Authorities confirmed that one person died from their injuries at the scene and another person was transported to the hospital for treatment. The preliminary reports showed that the injured victim was later discharged from the hospital.
Reports also indicated that one commercial vehicle was involved in the accident. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. Officials have not provided any further details regarding the incident.
The cause of the crash remains under review.
