On Sunday morning, injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle wreck in Smyrna.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle pile-up took place on the Old Nashville Highway at Rocky Fork Road. Smyrna Police and Smyrna Fire-Rescue along with the Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash scene.
On arrival, emergency crews transported the injured victims to the ER at StonesCrest Medical Center. It is unclear how many victims in total were involved in the wreck. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
