A person died in a multi-vehicle collision on South Decatur Boulevard and West Twain Avenue on Saturday night at 5:53 p.m.
Investigators reported that a Toyota Scion driver sideswiped a Hyundai SUV. Then, it swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Camaro. The Scion driver succumbed from his injuries at the hospital. However, the Camaro’s female driver suffered non-critical injuries.
Authorities suspect that the male victim displayed symptoms of impairment. Later, officials blocked the affected roads for traffic.
The crash is under review.
