On Monday morning, a motorcyclist was killed following a multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway and El Camino Real.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 10:15 a.m. on the northbound San Diego (5) Freeway at El Camino Real. According to the preliminary investigation, an SUV and a big rig hit a motorcyclist for reasons that are yet to be known.
Authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist was killed as a result of the wreck. A representative from the Orange County coroner’s office arrived at the scene to provide assistance at approximately 10:46 a.m.
The cause of the fatal crash is under investigation.
