A motorcycle crash injured a 60-year-old man in Hungry Valley (Santa Clarita, CA)

On Sunday afternoon, a 60-year-old man was flown to just north of Santa Clarita following a motorcycle crash in Hungry Valley, officials confirmed.

At about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, emergency responders got information of a medical emergency on Quail Canyon Road in Gorman, just north of Santa Clarita, as per Ed Pickett, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“A male in his mid-60s is being airlifted due to a motorcycle crash in Hungry Valley,” Pickett said. “He is being rushed to a local trauma center to receive treatment for his injuries.” As of 2:50 p.m. Sunday, the extent of the victim’s injuries and his current condition remain unknown. Authorities have not released any additional details regarding the crash.

The cause of the crash remain under review.
