A motorcycle crash claimed the life of 27-year-old Kevin O’Neal in Central Austin (Austin, TX)

On late Wednesday night, 27-year-old Kevin O’Neal lost his life after a motorcycle accident in Central Austin.

The fatal single-vehicle crash took place on North Lamar Boulevard near San Gabriel Street at about 11:58 p.m. Reports revealed an Austin police officer saw that the motorcyclist lost control and crashed. The officer stopped to conduct life-saving measures on the rider.

On arrival, emergency personnel rushed the bike rider to Dell Seton Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Officials identified him as 27-year-old Kevin O’Neal. The events that have led up the crash remain unknown at this time.

The Austin Police Department is investigating the fatal crash.
