On Monday afternoon, a man lost his life following a fatal motorcycle crash on Bell Street near Cat Canyon Road in Los Alamos.
The incident involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle took place on Bell Street near Cat Canyon Road just before 4:00 p.m. Fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli mentioned that it happened on the Bell Street offramp from southbound Highway 101.
A male motorcyclist in his 30s died of his injuries at the scene. Personnel from the county Coroner’s Bureau also responded to the crash scene. Bertucelli confirmed that the sedan driver did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.
An investigation is underway.
