A hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian on Aurora Avenue North (Seattle, WA)

On Wednesday, one person died after being hit by a vehicle on Aurora Avenue North.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at around 3:19 a.m. near North 76th Street. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died of their injuries at the crash scene. According to a witness, he was going northbound when he noticed a person fly into the air on the roadway.

The driver of the vehicle drove away from the scene on Aurora Avenue North. The authorities will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under active review.
