A hit-and-run accident on Highway 101 near Betteravia Road led to injuries (Santa Maria, CA)

Injuries were reported after a wreck Sunday afternoon on Highway 101 near Betteravia Road.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place at about 3:37 p.m. on Highway 101, close to Betteravia Road. The preliminary reports showed that at least three vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles left the scene after the accident.

The incident caused injuries, but it is unknown how many people in total were injured. Santa Maria Police and Fire Departments rushed to the scene to render aid. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
