On Sunday night, a man lost his life in a hit-and-run accident on Northgate Boulevard near Interstate 80.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident took place on Northgate Boulevard near Interstate 80 at around 9:10 p.m. Reports revealed that as the man walked into the area, a vehicle struck him.
On arrival, police pronounced him dead. The involved vehicle left the scene before the authorities arrived. As of now, the authorities have not provided any description of the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. The accident resulted in a temporary shutdown on Northgate Boulevard and the I-80 on- and off-ramps.
The crash remains under investigation.
