On Wednesday, Christopher Bell suffered injuries after a hit-and-run accident on Highway 4.
As per the initial information, the incident took place on Highway 4 between Stockton and Discovery Bay. Initial reports of the crash revealed that a red truck was trying to pass motorists unsafely when it crashed into a motorcycle head-on.
The motorcyclist ended up in a ditch full of water due to the impact of the collision. The truck escaped from the scene after the accident. A helicopter responded to the scene and airlifted the bike rider to a hospital in unknown condition. Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver.
The crash remains under review.
