A hit-and-run accident injured a female pedestrian in Pacific Beach (San Diego, CA)

On Saturday, a female pedestrian suffered injuries following a hit-and- run accident in Pacific Beach.

As per the initial information, the pedestrian crash took place at 1:19 a.m. Saturday on Grand Avenue east of the intersection with 4300 Kendall St. The preliminary reports showed that a light-colored SUV was heading eastbound on Grand when it hit the pedestrian and then drove away from the scene.

The pedestrian received multiple non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. On arrival, first responders rushed the victim to a hospital. The identity of the injured pedestrian remains undisclosed at this time.

The incident remains under active review.
