On Wednesday morning, a head-on collision shut down Elderberry and Deerskin Street.
The incident took place on Homestead Road moments before 8 a.m. No serious injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Officials advised the drivers to use side streets to avoid the crash scene. Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services crews actively responded to the scene.
Authorities closed both directions of traffic on Homestead road between Elderberry and Deerskin Street for investigation process. The accident caused a wide-scattered wreckage field in the roadway, where a tire of one of the two pickup trucks involved sat in the turn lane at Elderberry Street.
The crash remains under active review.
