On Thursday, two people suffered injuries after a head-on crash in Brownsville.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 7 a.m. at the intersection of Huisache and Military Highway 281. The preliminary investigation showed that a tan GMC Acadia was heading southeast while a blue Dodge Journey was going northwest. For unknown reasons, the GMC vehicle began to travel against traffic and crashed head-on into the Dodge Journey.
On arrival, medics took the male driver of the GMC Arcadia and one female to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. Officers reported that the man was unconscious. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
