One person was killed following a head-on collision Monday morning in Barstow.
As per the initial information, the fatal traffic accident took place at 5:53 a.m. on Interstate 15 and Nevada State Line. According to the early reports, the incident happened on the entry ramp to the California Agricultural Inspection Station.
A driver, only identified as a 33-year-old resident of Petaluma, was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
