A five-vehicle pile-up in north Phoenix left 5 people with injuries (Phoenix, AZ)

Five people suffered injuries following a wreck Sunday night in north Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the 5-vehicle pile-up took place near 19th Avenue and Jomax Road. Phoenix fire crews actively responded to area just before 7 p.m. on reports of a crash. On arrival, firefighters discovered five people injured with three found lying on the ground.

Four people, including a 14-year-old girl, a woman, and two men were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identities of the injured victim have also not been disclosed. No other information is available.

An investigation is underway.
