A fiery, multi-vehicle pile-up left 3 people dead in Fort Bend County (Fort Bend County, TX)

Three people lost their lives Monday following a four-vehicle pile-up near Rosenberg.

As per the initial information, the wreck took place about noon at Vincik Ehlert Road and FM 360 in Beasley in which two 18-wheelers, a passenger vehicle, and a boxcar were involved. The early reports showed that three people died following the multi-vehicle accident.

The reports also revealed that the incident involved a head-on crash and the two 18-wheelers were wrecked by fire. The road, southwest of Rosenberg, is shut down and expected to remain closed all day. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.

An investigation is underway.
