A fiery crash took the life of 1 person in Detroit (Detroit, MI)

On Sunday night, one person was killed following a fiery, single-vehicle accident in Detroit.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place in the area of 8 Mile Road and Klinger Street at about 11:47 p.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 Ford Explorer smashed into a tree for reasons that are yet to be known.

The reports also showed that the vehicle had engulfed in flames due to the crash. The identity of the deceased is unknown due to the severity of the burns the victim sustained. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
