A fatality was reported after a fiery crash Wednesday afternoon in Dos Palos.
As per the initial information, the fatal traffic collision took place at 4:21 p.m. on Highway 33 and Cypress Avenue. The early reports showed that a vehicle rolled over into a ditch. A vehicle apparently slammed into a power pole and caught fire, resulting in downed power lines.
Authorities confirmed that a vehicle was engulfed in flames due to the collision. Firefighters actively responded to the scene to put out the fire. Riggs Ambulance also arrived at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other information is available.
The crash remains under investigation.
