Authorities reported a fatal crash Thursday afternoon in west Bexar County that prompted several temporary road closures.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at the intersection of Loop 1604 West and FM 143, south of Highway 90. The early reports showed that a semi-truck and another vehicle were involved in the collision.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. Authorities asked motorists to expect an hours-long shutdown of southbound traffic on Loop 1604 at Highway 90, and northbound traffic will be closed down at Loop 1604 and Macdona Lacoste Road. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route for the time being. No other details are available.
