A crash involving an 18-wheeler on I-10 eastbound near the Starks exit has closed down both lanes, according to Louisiana State Police.
The truck rolled on its side in the construction zone, as per Trooper Derek Senegal, spokesman for Louisiana State Police Troop D. Senegal said the truck is currently being uprighted, and the closure will remain in effect for approximately one hour.
Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the crash and no additional details have been released regarding the wreck. It is also unclear if anyone received injuries as a result of the accident.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
