A car vs. motorcycle crash killed 1 person near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road (Phoenix, AZ)

On Tuesday morning, a motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a car near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 8:45 a.m. On arrival, authorities came to known that a man was riding a motorcycle traveling westbound on Thunderbird Road when a car collided with his bike.

The female driver was taking a left turn into an apartment complex when the incident occurred. The man was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Police believe that impairment did not contribute to the crash. Officials will reveal the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
