A car speeding and doing donuts plows into a power line in southwest Atlanta neighborhood (Atlanta, GA)

A car that was reportedly speeding and doing donuts ended up hitting a power line in the southwest Atlanta neighborhood.

As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday on the 1300 block of Allegheny Street. According to the resident nearby, a red Dodge was speeding and doing donuts when it slammed into a power line.

A bystander mentioned that the people inside the car ran away from the scene after the collision. Authorities stated that someone in the car might have hurt their arm. At this time, it is unknown how many people were in the car. No further information is available.

The crash remains under active review.
