A car slams into a Glendale gas line, triggering hazmat situation (Glendale, AZ)

On Saturday afternoon, a car crashed into a Glendale a gas line, resulting in a hazardous materials response from Glendale Fire crews.

As per the initial information, the incident took place near Glendale and 67th avenues. The early reports showed that Haz Mat crews fixed the leak and are checking for any residual gas readings. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown at this time.

It is unclear if the driver of the car received injuries or required hospitalization following the collision. Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area while crews work at the scene. No other details pertaining to the accident have been released.
