A man was hurt after he slammed his car into a Sun Valley backyard Monday afternoon.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place on Sergei Street. The preliminary investigation indicated that a 67-year-old man rolled his car and smashed through a resident’s backyard. Officials said that speed and inattention may have contributed to the collision.
Reports further added that the car drifted off the roadway, went up onto the sidewalk, took down a fence and landed in the backyard. On arrival, medics transported the man to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
