A car hit and injured a pedestrian on North McCarran Boulevard (Sparks, NV)

On Thursday night, a pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle on North McCarran Boulevard.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place in the 500 block of North McCarran Boulevard. On arrival, emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. Officials said that his injuries did not seem to be life threatening.

At this time, the crash site has been cleared by the crews. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown. The identity of the injured victim has not been released by the officials.

The crash remains under active review.
