Large amounts of dirt were dumped onto Friars Road after a big rig rolled over on Tuesday afternoon in Mission Valley.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident in the westbound lanes of the 7300 block of Friars Road was reported just before 2:30 p.m. CHP announced a traffic alert for the area near the southbound state Route 163 offramp.
The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. It is also unclear if the wreck caused any injuries. No other details have been released by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
