A 73-year-old bicyclist William Mohan lost his life in a fatal accident on Avenue 48 near Jefferson Street in Indio at about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
As per authorities, the incident involved a vehicle and a bicyclist. Furthermore, the driver of the Gray Chrysler sedan stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Additionally, officials shut down both directions of Avenue 48 between Shields Road and Jefferson Street.
An investigation is ongoing.
