A 60-year-old cyclist injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kennewick (Kennewick, WA)

On Tuesday morning, a 60-year-old bicyclist suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Kennewick.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of N. Zinser and West Clearwater after getting reports of a bicycle crash. At this time, it is unclear if the rider was thrown from their bike after the collision.

On arrival, emergency responders found the man conscious. He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-serious injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. It is unknown if the driver will face any charges.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
