A 58-year-old man killed after a motorcycle crash on city’s West Side (San Antonio, TX)

On Thursday morning, a 58-year-old man lost his life following a motorcycle crash on the city’s West Side.

As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 11:30 a.m. along S. General McMullen Drive and Ceralvo Street in which a car and a motorcycle were involved. The preliminary reports showed that a Nissan Altima traveling southbound on Gen. McMullen attempted to make a left turn onto Ceralvo when it struck a motorcycle that was heading northbound.

The reports further indicated that the motorcyclist could not avoid the collision and hit the front of the Altima. The driver, a 58-year-old man, was thrown from the motorcycle due to the impact. He was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. The driver of the Altima remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigating team.

The crash remains under investigation.
