A 24-year old man airlifted to a hospital after a motorcycle crash in Laredo (Laredo, TX)

A 24-year old man was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital after a motorcycle got struck by a vehicle in Laredo.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at around 10 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 2300 block of Jacaman Road. The early reports showed that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a white Mazda CX-5 were involved in the collision.

Laredo Fire Department crews actively responded to the scene and, on arrival, found the rider of the motorcycle, identified as a 24-year old male, unconscious and with multiple injuries. He was rushed to Laredo Medical Center and eventually flown out to a San Antonio hospital. The driver of the Mazda was identified by the police as a 24-year old woman.

As per the protocol, the LPD Crash Team and the LPD Crimes Against Persons Unit responded to the crash site. Toxicology reports are pending on both drivers. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
