Authorities identified 85-year-old Craig Stanley Jr. Bolling, of Roswell, as the man who lost his life and 25-year-old Jamie Fuentes-Guille, of La Vergne, as the victim who sustained injuries following a head-on collision on Wednesday in La Vergne.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place on Waldron Road. The preliminary investigation indicated that 85-year-old Craig Stanley Jr. Bolling was going in his 2021 Toyota Rav 4 southbound. On the other hand, 25-year-old Jamie Fuentes-Guille was heading northbound on the same road.
For undetermined reasons, Fuentes-Guille reportedly went over the solid yellow line into the southbound lanes and crashed head-on into Bolling’s vehicle. Fuentes-Guille’s vehicle then rolled over onto the left shoulder of Waldron Road, and Bolling’s vehicle eventually ended up, blocking two lanes of Waldron Road.
Fuentes-Guille suffered injuries as a result of the collision. Bolling succumbed to his injuries after the crash. He was buckled up at that time, and Fuentes-Guille was not wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the accident. It is unknown if Fuentes-Guille will be charged or not. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under review.
