80-Year-Old Ida Schulz Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Abilene (Abilene, TX)

According to the Abilene Police Department, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Thursday. 

The officials stated that 80-year-old Abilene resident, Ida Schulz died after a crash on the 1600 block of Highway 351.

The officials stated that Schulz was pushing a shopping cart when she stopped to pick up something. She was hit in the head by a car backing out of a parking space. 

Schulz was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead by the authorities.

No information regarding the driver or the vehicle was provided by the officials. 

The fatal crash makes the 24th fatality on Abilene roads so far this year.
