8-Year-Old Boy Killed In Bicycle Accident In Kingwood (Kingwood, TX)

The Department of Public Safety states that an 8-year-old boy was killed after a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle on Monday afternoon.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the child was on the sidewalk before attempting to turn at the intersection of Gallant Knight and South King Mill.

A black Hyundai was traveling westbound on South Kings Mill and subsequently turned left to go south on Gallant Knight. The woman driver states that did not see the boy and struck him.

Following the bicycle accident, the boy was transported to Kingwood Hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital. DPS added that the driver was cooperating with the investigation.
