8 people, including 6 children injured after a two-car crash on the South Side (San Antonio, TX)

Six children and two adults received injuries following a traffic collision on the South Side of the city.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 3000 block of SE Military Dr. at about 4:15 p.m. in response to a two-car crash. The early reports showed that an SUV and a sedan were involved in the crash. There were six children and two adults in the SUV when the incident happened.

The children’s ages ranged from 2 to 10-years old. They were immediately taken to the hospital in stable but critical condition. The sedan was occupied by one adult male in his mid-30s to mid-40s, and was transported to Mission Trails Hospital with minimal injuries. Alcohol was not involved in the collision. No other information is available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
