77-Year-Old Pedestrian Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In El Paso (El Paso, TX)

The El Paso Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday. 

According to the police, an 84-year-old woman collided with a car operated by an 18-year-old female. The pedestrian, two parked cars, and the curb were struck by an 18-year-old driver. At the moment of the collision, one of the parked cars included occupants.

The 77-year-old pedestrian was carried to the hospital, where he later passed away, according to the police. The 84-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with injuries. There were no other recorded injuries.

Although the investigation is ongoing, police stated that the preliminary findings indicate that failing to surrender the right of way while making a left turn was a contributing cause of the fatal crash.
