76-Year-Old Man Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

The Tucson Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Saturday night. The accident happened at around 10 p.m.

The man was a passenger in a red Hyundai Elantra that was making a left turn from eastbound East Grant Road onto North Rosemont Avenue when police claim it failed to yield to oncoming traffic. A Chevrolet Traverse travelling west struck the Elantra.

A 76-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The 27-year-old woman who was operating the Traverse was unharmed.

According to the press release, police reported that neither Elantra passenger was buckled up and that the driver’s license was suspended.

The fatal crash is still being investigated.
