74-year-old Michael Hogan dead after a car hits a lawn mower (Laurens County, GA)

Authorities identified 74-year-old Michael Hogan, of Dublin, as the man who lost his life after getting hit while he was riding on his lawn mower Wednesday afternoon.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at about 4 p.m. on Georgia 388, close to Mount Olive Road in Laurens County. The investigation reports showed that 74-year-old Michael Hogan was driving a zero-turn lawn mower when he went into the road and was struck by a car for unknown reasons.

Hogan succumbed to his injuries at the scene. It is unknown at this time if the car driver remained at the scene after the collision. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
