A 73-year-old man lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle early Wednesday in Marana.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 6 a.m. on Coachline Boulevard. The early report showed that the victim, who lived in the area, was out for a walk early and was crossing the street on a residential road when the incident happened.
The driver involved pulled over after the collision. According to the authorities, impairment did not play a factor in the accident. Coachline, from Armor Crest to Idle Wild Drive, was shut down for several hours but was back open again by 11:30 a.m. No other information is available.
