The Milford Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision involved a car and a pickup truck. The crash happened close to Route 1 and Cleveland Ave at around 12:55 p.m.
According to MPD, a 2009 Hyundai Elantra was struck by a 2017 Ram 1500 pickup truck while it was traveling west on Route 1, commonly known as Bridgeport Avenue.
Edward Henning, 73 was attempting to make a left turn onto Cleveland Avenue in the Elantra, according to police. The Ram pickup truck also hit a Hyundai Sonata that was stopped on Cleveland Avenue as a result of the collision.
Henning was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with critical injuries, where he passed away on Monday. It is not yet known if anyone else was injured in the accident.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
