According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Los Angeles.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the multi-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred south of Lankershim Boulevard, on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Studio City.
70-year-old Raad Ibrahim Abdo was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Insights on how the accident occurred have not been released yet.
Other information including the descriptions of the vehicles involved remain unknown.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
