A 70-year-old man from Bowie, Texas, died Friday night in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Miller County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at approximately 10:24 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Route 242 and the U.S. 54 Connector near Columbia, the Patrol reported. Authorities said the man was riding a 2023 Harley-Davidson Sportster westbound on Route 242 when the motorcycle left the roadway.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no other injuries were reported, per the Patrol.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Details surrounding what led the motorcycle to leave the roadway have not been released.
