7 people injured after a traffic collision in the Brentwood area (Los Angeles, CA)

Seven people received injuries after a crash Wednesday in the Brentwood area.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision involving at least two vehicles was reported at around 1:35 p.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway near Mulholland Drive. According to the authorities, one person sustained serious injuries in the collision and another received moderate injuries, while the remaining patients incurred only minor injuries.

Some of the patients were reportedly taken to a hospital, but it was not immediately clear how many in total were hospitalized. The carpool lane of the northbound freeway was briefly shut down following the wreck. Traffic in both directions would be impacted for an unknown duration. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unknown. No other details are available.

The crash remains under review.
