69-year-old Patricia G Radican died following a hit-and-run accident north of Tyler (Tyler, TX)

Authorities identified 69-year-old Patricia G Radican, of Gun Barrel City, as the woman who lost her life after being hit by a vehicle late Monday night while she was standing in the road on State Highway 110.

The preliminary reports showed that Radican was struck by an unknown vehicle heading northbound on Highway 110 North in Smith County just before 10 p.m. The driver of the vehicle took off after the crash and was last seen headed north on Highway 110.

Radican was declared dead by the medical team at UT Health East Texas – Tyler. No details have been provided regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. No further information is available.

The incident remains under active review.
