A 69-year-old man received injuries after a two-vehicle accident Thursday in San Diego’s Egger Highlands neighborhood.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 1600 block of Coronado Avenue at 6:51 p.m. on reports of a motorcycle crash. The preliminary reports showed that a man on his 2003 Honda Shadow motorcycle was heading eastbound on Coronado when his bike collided with a westbound driver in a 2002 Toyota Corolla who had turned left in front of him headed onto 16th Street.
The motorcyclist had “several fractures” to his left leg. On arrival, first responders took him to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. The driver of the Toyota and his two passengers remained unharmed in the accident. DUI was not involved in the crash. No other details are available.
The accident remains under investigation.
