Authorities identified 68-year-old Tommy Morris as the man who lost his life after being struck by two vehicles on April 15 in Shreveport.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place in the 1900 block of Hearne Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that Morris was hit by one vehicle as he crossed in the 1900 block of Hearne Avenue at 8:15 p.m. Friday, April 15.
He was then hit by another vehicle. Morris, of the 2800 block of West Jordan Street, was declared dead at the scene by the officials. An autopsy has been ordered. It is unknown if the involved vehicles remained at the scene or not after hitting the pedestrian. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
